oh art art art! recently i have been thinking about my art career. i originally came to art school to be a photo major. now that i'm in school and blowing glass, i dont think i ever want to do photo again. how did i lose interest so quickly? was it color photo? i think is because i cant stand that class. i dont want to shoot anymore, i dont want to develop anymore and i most certainly do not want to print anymore. all i want to do now is glass. glass has consumed my life. i spent the majority of my time in the hot shop (where glass is blown) assisting people who are making things or making things myself.

it's extremely depressing to me to come to this realization. i loved photo and now i hate it. i dont understand what happened. i think i need to try printing in b+w again and maybe i will refind my love of photo.

anyway i have to scan my pics from color photo and put them up here, some of my pictures i really enjoy and other's i do not. i havent finished making my second glass assignment, but i will tell you that i am making squids! i am really excited.

well i return back to western new york in 10 days for school.

this semester i am taking color darkroom photo (!!!!!!!!!!) and glass blowing (!!!!!!!!x5)

i am also going to try and sneak into the black and white darkroom because i have some prints i still want to print.

so expect awesome color prints and glass blowing stuff in the monthes to come. in the mean time, i'll continue taking digital pictures and uploading the ones that i like the most. blah blah blah

uploaded the majority of my wheel throwing stuff! its all kind of lame i apologize.

tomorrow morning i leave for all good music festival! im bringing my digital camera and my polaroid camera (and film!) i am so excited!

so hopefully expect pictures when i return!.. which is sunday.

so i uploaded the majority of my work that i did this past semester. i just havent taken pictures of my ceramic work yet, but they are shitty anyway, so i dont know if i am going to take a picture of them. and i still have one more oil painting to upload.

sorry for incredible amount of waitin time for new deviations, i hope it was worth the wait and you all enjoy the newest works.

i am seeing PHISH tonight and i couldnt be more excited! yea!!!
